The vision for EKC² is to establish the center as leader in the area of Electric Power Engineering,
and create a natural meeting point for industry and academia in northern Europe.
The research within EKC² spans four research areas, Maintenance Management, Controllable Power Systems,
IT applications for Power System Operation and Control and High Performance Electrical Machines and Drives.
EKC² is built on a tradition of successful co-operation between industry, academia and society.
Funding for the centre is provided by the Swedish Power Indutry,
the Swedish Energy Agency and KTH - The Royal Institute of Technology. Industry Partners »
